| Other Information | I have only just found this information and have not yet done any further research on him (Richard Gingell). I have a direct ancestor called Mary Gingell. I finally worked out that her place of birth was Castle Combe from the censuses and when I looked on the IGI there was a Mary born to Richard Gingell at Castle Combe for the right dates. So this is an assumption. The information on the IGI has not been confirmed by looking at the original records yet and it would not appear as though Richard was himself born in Castle Combe. However, I think it is possible that the Castle Combe records as such are not on the IGI and this particular set of information was put on the IGI by an individual researcher. |
